Osmanthus (Five-Color False Holly) - heterophyllus Goshiki

Osmanthus (Five-Color False Holly) - heterophyllus Goshiki

Common Name: Five-Color False Holly
Hardiness Zones: 6 7 8 9

Description: Spiny holly-like foliage is fabulously variegated--green mottling on a gold background that mature to cream--more handsomely variegated than any true holly. New foliage emerges pink-tinged. Inconspicuous white flowers in autumn have an incredible sweet fragrance; one plant is enough to perfume the entire yard. Unlike other variegated selections, this one is a little bit hardier than the species. Does best in light to medium shade in a well-drained spot. Matures at 96" x 96". From 2 gallon pots.

Height: 96"
