Description: Fragrant, showy white flowers, with 25 to 30 petals, open with a hint of pink about 2 weeks later than most star magnolias and late enough to miss most late frosts. Grows as a large bushy shrub or small tree. Fuzzy pink flower buds and deep green foliage, that turns bronze in autumn, add to the effect. Plant in rich, organic, acid soil; sun to light shade. Matures to 120" high by 96" wide. From 2 gallon pots.
