Description: Fragrant, small yellow flowers in dense clusters in early to mid-April before the leaves appear. Effective in shrub borders as well as in naturalized plantings. Twigs and leaves are aromatic when crushed. Attractive to butterflies. Full sun to partial shade; habit becomes more open when grown in shade. matures at a 72-144", with similar spread, in a broad rounded shape. Apple green leaves become yellow in autumn. Prefers moist, well-drained soils. From 2 gallon pots. Rated as Deer-Resistant.
