Description: Small tree or large shrub, named after Ben Franklin. Showy, fragrant whit flowers, 3" in diameter, with yellow stamens in late summer. Magnificent dark green foliage turns brilliant shades of orange and red in autumn. Requires moist, well-drained, acid soil rich in organic matter in full sun to light shade. Use no chemical fertilizers. Ht. 120-240". From 2 gallon pots.
