Cotoneaster - salicifolius Repens

Description: Leathery inch-long narrow foliage, reminiscent of willow leaves, is shiny dark green from spring to autumn and toned with reddish purple in winter, when the stems also become more prominently maroon. Depending upon winter temperatures, foliage will be either evergreen or semi-evergreen. Flat-topped clusters of creamy white blooms in May-June are followed by red berries which often persist through winter. Matures at 24" high by 72-96" across. Handsome weed-resistant ground cover; ideal for steep banks. From 2 gallon pots. Rated as Deer-Resistant.
