Description: Showy, summer blooming native shrub with 8-12" long, narrowly pyramidal white spikes, having red anthers and pink stamens, in July. Matures to a 144" x 144" multi-stemmed mound of handsome, disease resistant, palmate leaves, with grey undersides. Easy to grow in well-drained, organic soil in full sun or moderate shade. We consider bottlebush buckeye to be the most spectacular of shade tolerant, summer blooming shrubs. From 2 gallon pots. Rated as Deer-Resistant.
