Abies (Caucasian Fir) - nordmanniana

Description: Stately conifer with shiny, very dark green (almost black) needles that are scented of orange when crushed. Grows relatively fast to a 50' narrow pyramid. One of the handsomest of the firs--a graceful lawn specimen, background or screening evergreen. Disease and insect resistant, Nordmann fir is better adapted to warm climates and summer drought than other firs. Scarce and hard to find. Ht. 600". From 2 gallon pots.
