This pre-emergent herbicide prevents most kinds of broadleaf weeds such as chickweed, henbit, dandelion, spurge, clover and oxalis in Bentgrass, Bermudagrass, Bluegrass, Tall Fescue, Perennial Ryegrass and Zoysiagrass lawns.

Application
Apply in early spring and mid fall for year-round suppression and control. Don't use in gardens or flower beds. Apply only on established turf. Apply to newly seeded turf (including overseeded turf) only after seedlings are established (three leaf stage and tillering) and well rooted. Do not overseed established turf sooner than 60 days following an application of Portrait.
