Sedge Hammer Turf Herbicide (formerly called Manage) is a selective herbicide for post emergence control of sedges such as yellow and purple nutsedge in ornamental turf grasses such as bluegrass, ryegrass, fescue lawns, Bahiagrass, Bentgrass, Bermudagrass, Kikuyugrass, St. Augustine grass, Seashore paspalum, Centipedegrass and Zoysiagrass.

Sedge Hammer may be applied to commercial or residential turf and on other noncrop sites. This product may also be applied at recommended rates as a post-directed spray around any established woody ornamental species in landscaped areas. For transplanted woody ornamentals, allow 3 months after transplanting before applying this product.

Each pack of MSedge Hammer contains a 0.9 gram unit, which makes one gallon of weed killing solution and treats 1,000 square feet. A non-ionic surfactant and spreader sticker is recommended by the manufacturer.
