Lonicera (Honeysuckle) - brownii Mandarin

Description: Spectacular display of flaring 2.5" bright orange blooms with contrasting yellow throats and reddish buds - the largest blossoms of any vining honeysuckle we carry. Blooms heavily in May-June and intermittently throughout the summer until October. Foliage emerges coppery but matures to a glossy dark green. Plant in full sun or light shade in a well-drained spot with a cool root run. Grows rapidly, up to 6' a year, ultimately reaching 20'. Ample water, fertilizer and a light pruning right after the initial bloom are all beneficial.
