Clematis - Comtesse de Bouchaud (Bouchard) (III,*)

Description: Beautiful satin rose pink flowers with yellow stamens. Saucer-shaped blooms are 5-6" across. Profuse bloomer. Vigorous and reliable. They are best rejuvenated with heavy pruning every two to three years. Prune back to the lowest strong leaf buds (9 to 18" above ground level) in late winter or early spring. These are teh best varieties to use intermingled with roses or other shrubs that require frequent pruning. Shade tolerant. Ht. 8-12'.
