Description: Nodding, blue-purple 1 1/2" bells in late spring, followed by attractive seed heads. Prolific flowering. Easy to grow in a cool, shady place. More tolerant of windy, exposed sites than many other clematis. Thin and lightly prune to shape immediately after bloom. Ht. 6-8'.
