Description: Large trusses of wavy-petalled, strawberry-red, single 2-3" blooms with prominent white eyes and contrasting yellow stamens. Profuse blooming, followed by an equal profusion of large orange hips. (These should be removed in summer to encourage rebloom, but allowed to remain after the last fall bloom.) Moderate apple scent. Holly-like, dark green foliage is exceptionally disease-resistant. Very winter-hardy Kordesii hybrid. Use as an 8' Climber, Pillar, or as a 6' Shrub Rose.
