Coreopsis lanceolata Summer Sprite

Description: Exclusive to Carroll Gardens! Single golden yellow fringed petals with a broad mahogany red ring around the eye. Compact mounds literally covered with 2 inch blooms. Makes a great cut flower. Over the past 10 years, we have garden tested every named, red-centered Coreopsis lanceolata we could track down, as well as literally thousands of seedlings. Summer Sprit, a cooperative development effort of Honeysong Farm and Carroll Gardens, is clearly the best. Height 12 inches. Plant 12 inches apart in well-drained soil.
