Common Name: Fringed Bleeding Heart

Description: Finely cut, lettuce green leaves and showy racemes of cherry pink blooms from April-June and again in fall. Makes an enchanting, airy, open mound. Excellent for naturalizing in woodland. More charming than many of its hybrids, most of which include some D. formosa parentage. Requires well drained soil. Plant 18" apart. Ht. 15". Rated as Deer-Resistant.
