Description: D. allwoodii Alpinus selection introduced by Carroll Gardens about 50 years ago and lost for several years. Large full-petalled flowers fo a dark fuchsia or raspberry color with deeper central rings. The petals and stamens have a slight swirl to them. Strong clove fragrance. The foliage is a nice glaucous blue color. Most plants offered under this name turn out to be D. Patience. Ht. 6".
