Description: Lush deep green, evergreen leaves (2" wide by 10" long) cluster at the branch tips like a palm. Looks tropical, especially near water. Prefers a moist, lightly shaded spot, protected from winter winds. Tolerates sun and drought, once established. The form we offer grows 36" tall and is useful as a weed-choking ground cover in difficult spots. Spreads by underground rhizomes. Rated as Deer-Resistant.
