Description: Yellow 15-20' mature canes contrast beautifully with the deep green foliage. One of the hardies and most beautiful bamboos; excellent for screening. Prefers a sunny, moist spot. Tolerates light shade and, when established, drought. Invasive and difficult to eradicate; use a barrier to restrict creeping rootstocks. In the North, best planted in the spring and mulched the first winter after planting. Rated as Deer-Resistant.
