Description: Low growing evergreen ground cover with small bright green lustrous leaves in spring, becoming darker in summer and wine colored in autumn. Fragrant, dainty pinkish white blooms, borne in profusion in late April to May, are followed by bright red persisting fruit in Auguest. Requires very well-drained acid soil in a lightly shaded spot protected from winter winds. Ht. 6"
