A new member of the ComPRO_® and Leafgro_® family of fine products by Maryland Environmental Service.  fertileGRO^™'s origin comes from organic byproducts which are converted into a valuable all natural product.  This organic fertilizer is made form chicken litter collected from local chicken growers on the Delmarva Peninsula.  Pelletizing and packaging this organic fertilizer allows nutrients to be easily shipped to other areas that can utilize fertileGRO^™  while removing nutrients from the Peninsula.  The litter is heat dried to a temperature between 180 to 225 degrees Fahrenheit that pasteurizes, sterilizes and stabilizes the material.  The dried organics are pelletized and milled to a proper size for lawn and garden applications.  fertileGRO^™ organic fertilizer can be applied to your lawn and garden through any spreader used with granular fertilizers.
